Groups & Coach Parties

An ideal visitor location for groups and coach trips
in the heart of Durham City

Information for Group Organisers:

Exploring the historic hall and strolling around the beautiful gardens makes a wonderful visit. Indeed our group organisers often tell us that their outing to Crook Hall has been the most popular trip on their calendar.

The Hall is just a ten-minute walk from Durham city centre and its cathedral. Groups (including coach parties) can be dropped off just outside the gate. Alternatively, Durham’s coach park is located within easy walking distance.

Light refreshments, including toasted sandwiches, homemade soup made with produce from the gardens, and cream teas with scones fresh from the Aga can be enjoyed in our pretty Courtyard Café or our Georgian Dining Room.

Due to the historic layout of the Grade 1 listed building, access for wheelchair users may be difficult. Assisted walking is no problem but please do ring to discuss your needs.

There would be a 10% discount offered for groups of 20 or more who are visiting during normal opening times.

We would love to welcome you and your group. If you have any questions or special requirements please do not hesitate to contact us.
