Opening Times 2010

Crook Hall is open from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. as follows:

  • Easter weekend - (1st to 6th April inclusive)
  • April to September: Daily except Fridays and Saturdays

  • Crook Hall by Candle Light 7th 8th September, 7pm (£8.00)
  • Halloween - 29th, 30th , 31st October: 3pm to dusk
    - Pre booking essential  
  • Christmas - 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th December: 1pm to 4pm
    £9.50 pp - Pre booking essential

NB: All proceeds from opening the Hall and Gardens are used to help maintain this historically important Grade 1 listed building and its grounds.

Crook Hall is on Frankland Lane, Sidegate, a short walk from Durham City's The Gates Shopping Centre.

Just follow the road next to the river from the Riverside and The Gates Car Parks, opposite the Gala Theatre.
