Visit Crook Hall & Gardens in the Winter
The doors are closed and the work begins. There is plenty to do to get ready for next year’s visitors - pruning, planting, paths to repair and many other essential tasks.
The gardens still look wonderful and with some snow and winter frosts and mists they become a winter wonderland.
The pond is often frozen and sometimes we see deer in the adjoining fields. Over this period the Hall is decorated in the traditional manner with holly, ivy and other greenery as we await Father Christmas’ annual visit.
In the New Year the Hall and Gardens rest and recuperate in order to be ready to welcome our Easter visitors.
