Visit Crook Hall & Gardens in the Summer
Inspirational! The roses have started their season. With well over a 100 roses to choose from there will always be some in flower well into the autumn. One of the first to bloom is the beautiful Rosa banksia.
The second walled garden, with its backdrop of the Hall, is stunning in June. The phlox, oriental poppies, oxe eye daisies and many others make it look like a painting from one of the great masters.
Outside the walled gardens there are many things happening, the Moat Pool is teeming with life; newts, frogs, toads and dragonflies. And of course the fish, which seem to love the warmer weather, soaking up the sun’s rays as they cruise just below the surface of the pool.
