Visit Crook Hall & Gardens in the Spring
There is plenty to see. Spring is a feast of colour in the gardens with hellebores giving way to snowdrops, anemones, cyclamen and crocus.
Along with the daffodils they all jostle for our attention underneath the trees and shrubs, which include the vibrant yellows of forsythia and kerria. Tulips, grape hyacinth and fritallarali all add to the depth of colour at this time of the year.
Our favourite sight has to be the flowers of the huge magnolia, as it stands majestically framed by the medieval hall and protected by the warm walls of the Secret Garden.
There is a magical view whichever way you turn in whichever part of the gardens you are in.
